# 8 best real estate photo editing software for photographers, compared (October 2026)

For most real estate photographers the best real estate photo editing software is Imagen for Real Estate, because one browser app covers bracket merging, window pulls, perspective and sky work, priced per photo. Autoenhance.ai is the pick when you upload whole shoots with mixed brackets and singles. NovaHDR is the pick when your photos are already merged or shot as single frames and the job left is a consistent finish across the whole property. AutoHDR, Fotello, Lightroom Classic, Photomatix Pro and Luminar Neo follow for narrower needs.

Eight products, ranked on what each says it does for a property shoot, with listed prices and at least one limit each.

_NovaHDR wrote this ranking and NovaHDR is one of the products ranked._

## How we compared

NovaHDR wrote this page and NovaHDR is one of the ranked products, so read the order with that in mind. We limit the bias three ways: every product is described only from its own public pages, every product gets at least one limit, and two of the criteria (bracket merging and RAW input) are ones where NovaHDR clearly loses, because it does not merge brackets or accept RAW files.

We did not buy or test the other products for this page. Statements about them come from vendor pages checked on October 12, 2026, except Imagen for Real Estate, whose live page did not load for automated reads; its facts come from an archived copy dated August 26, 2026. Prices are as listed on those dates and can change.

Real estate photo editing software here means anything a photographer uses after the shoot to get a listing set ready: desktop programs you operate yourself, browser apps that edit on upload, and services you send a property to. They solve different parts of the same job, so the ranking rewards the product that removes the most work for a typical property shoot while keeping the result natural.

- **Fit for property sets**: Is it built for listing photos, or is real estate one use among many?
- **Inputs**: Does it take what I shoot: brackets, singles, RAW, JPEG?
- **Consistency across rooms**: Will the kitchen and the bedroom look like the same house?
- **Work left for me**: How much do I still do by hand after it runs?
- **Price model**: Do I pay per photo, per property, per month or once?

## The ranking

### 1. Imagen for Real Estate: Best all-in-one browser editor

Imagen for Real Estate puts most of a listing edit in one browser tab. Its feature list covers HDR merge, window pull, perspective correction, sky replacement, color enhancement and cropping, with an assistant for virtual staging, object removal and twilight conversion. It takes JPEG, RAW, HEIC, AVIF and DNG uploads and returns final JPEGs. Pricing is per photo, and the archived page shows an early bird rate of $0.22 a photo. Imagen says three human revisions per listing are included when you flag a photo. For a photographer who wants to stop opening desktop software at all, it covers the widest range of listing fixes on this list.

Offers:
- HDR merge, window pull, perspective correction and sky replacement in one app
- Accepts JPEG, RAW, HEIC, AVIF and DNG
- Browser based, with Google Drive and Dropbox uploads
- Three human revisions per listing, per the vendor
- New accounts get 250 free photo edits, per the vendor

Limits:
- The undiscounted per-photo price did not appear in the archived page, only the early bird rate
- Real estate is priced separately from Imagen's desktop plans, which can confuse existing users
- Its live page did not load for our automated check, so facts are from August 26, 2026

Price: Early bird $0.22 per photo, pay as you go, USD (checked 2026-08-26)

### 2. Autoenhance.ai: Best for mixed uploads of brackets and singles

Autoenhance.ai is built for dragging a whole property shoot into one upload. It says it detects brackets, interiors and exteriors on its own, groups and merges up to 9 brackets per image, and lets single images sit in the same upload. The format list is broad: JPEG, WEBP, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, camera RAW from the major brands and DNG up to version 1.6. Credits are charged only when you download a final image, however many brackets went into it. It also lists window pulls, sky replacement, color correction and perspective correction. The pricing page did not render its figures on our check, so compare cost in a trial.

Offers:
- Groups and merges up to 9 brackets per image
- Mixes bracketed and single images in one upload
- Wide format support including RAW and TIFF
- One credit per downloaded image
- Web app plus an API

Limits:
- Prices did not render on the pricing page when checked
- Compressed RAW is not supported, per its help center
- Credits are valid for two months after they are issued

Price: Not shown: price values did not load on the pricing page (checked 2026-10-12)

### 3. NovaHDR: Best for finishing a set that is already merged

NovaHDR is a web app, not a desktop program, and it does not merge brackets. You use it to name the property, upload up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, and send the property for editing. The finished set comes back in 24 to 72 hours after you send the property, with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, ready for your own final review. It fits photographers whose merge or single-frame workflow already works and whose evenings go to the last exposure and color pass. The look is restrained: bright enough to understand the space, restrained enough to preserve its character. Pricing is per property, not per photo.

Offers:
- The property is finished as one set, so rooms read as the same home
- Up to 50 photos per property, 50 MiB per photo
- Works from single exposures and from merged bracket exports
- One Property with no expiry, or monthly plans whose unused credits roll over up to a cap
- You keep the final review before client delivery

Limits:
- Does not merge brackets and does not accept RAW or TIFF files
- Does not do virtual staging, sky replacement, object removal or perspective correction
- Slower than tools that edit on upload: 24 to 72 hours after you send the property
- Cannot recover detail that was not captured, such as a completely white window

Price: $29 one-time for one property; Solo $79 per month, 5 property credits (checked 2026-10-12)

### 4. AutoHDR: Best for high monthly volume with add-on tools

AutoHDR calls itself AI real estate photo editing in an online editor. Its tool list goes well past exposure: sky replacement, grass greening, removals, virtual staging, virtual twilight, fire in the fireplace, TV screens and bulk editing. You pay for what you download, with a Standard plan of 500 photos a month at $265.00 and a free plan of 10 photos a month, and unused credits roll over. Re-edits work by typing a prompt. The catch for planning is that neither the homepage nor the pricing page says which inputs it takes, brackets or singles, RAW or JPEG, and no turnaround is stated.

Offers:
- Many add-on tools, from sky replacement to virtual twilight
- Pay only for downloaded photos; unused credits roll over
- Free plan of 10 photos a month
- Integrations with Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Aryeo and Dropbox

Limits:
- Accepted inputs and file formats are not stated on the homepage or pricing page
- No turnaround time is stated
- The homepage says its current interface will sunset soon

Price: $265.00 per month for 500 photos ($0.53 a photo); free plan 10 photos a month (checked 2026-10-12)

### 5. Fotello: Best when you want booking, editing and delivery in one platform

Fotello is broader than an editor: it describes itself as a real estate media platform covering booking, editing, delivery and payment. Photo uploads can be any file type including all RAW formats. Plans are priced per listing, from $16 on the Essential plan billed on 75 listings a month, and pay as you go photo editing is $0.50 a photo. Fotello lists unlimited human revisions on the Essential plan and separate automated revisions. It suits a business that wants the shoot, the edit and the client handoff in one system rather than a single editing step.

Offers:
- Accepts all photo file types including RAW
- Web app, mobile app and API on every plan
- Pay as you go editing at $0.50 a photo
- Free plan with Fotello branding, up to 30 photos per listing

Limits:
- Monthly plans are billed on 75 listings ($1,200 a month on Essential)
- Free plan downloads are view only for edited photos, with 60 days of storage
- More platform than a solo editor may need

Price: $0.50 per photo pay as you go; Essential $16 per listing billed on 75 listings (checked 2026-10-12)

### 6. Adobe Lightroom Classic: Best if you already pay for Adobe

Lightroom Classic is where many real estate photographers already live, and its HDR Photo Merge lets you select a bracket set and merge it into a DNG with Auto Align, Auto Tone and four deghost levels. Everything after the merge is your own work: white balance, exposure, color and matching each room to the next. That is full control, and it is also the evening this list is about. The Lightroom plan that includes Classic is listed at $11.99 a month on an annual plan billed monthly. It is desktop only.

Offers:
- HDR Photo Merge to DNG inside your catalog
- Auto Align, Auto Tone and deghost settings
- Full manual control over every adjustment
- Included in the $11.99 Lightroom plan

Limits:
- You do the editing yourself, photo by photo or with synced settings
- Desktop only
- Subscription, annual plan billed monthly

Price: $11.99 a month, Lightroom (1TB), annual plan billed monthly (checked 2026-10-12)

### 7. Photomatix Pro: Best desktop merge you buy once

Photomatix Pro is the long-standing desktop bracket merger, and it is unusually specific about interiors: HDRsoft recommends at least 5 brackets at 2 EV spacing for high-contrast rooms and ships presets named Natural and Interior 2 to 4. It merges as many brackets as you need from JPEG, TIFF, DNG and most major RAW formats. The license is $99 once and never expires, valid on several computers. You still run the merge and the finishing yourself, so it saves money more than it saves time.

Offers:
- Merges any number of brackets, RAW included
- Real estate interior presets
- One-time $99 license that never expires
- Trial that does not expire, with a watermark

Limits:
- You run every merge and adjustment yourself
- Batch merging for Lightroom is a separate $69 plug-in
- Desktop only: Windows and macOS

Price: $99 one-time (Photomatix Pro 7) (checked 2026-10-12)

### 8. Luminar Neo: Best one-time desktop editor with HDR Merge

Luminar Neo includes HDR Merge for up to 10 bracketed RAW or JPEG images and can also expand the range of a single photo. It runs on macOS and Windows as an app and as a plug-in for Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, sold as a one-time payment from $129.00. The limit for property work is volume: Skylum says HDR Merge does not batch merge multiple sets, so a 40-view shoot means 40 separate merges before you sync edits across them.

Offers:
- HDR Merge of up to 10 brackets, RAW or JPEG
- Single-photo range expansion
- App and plug-in for Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
- One-time payment

Limits:
- No batch merging of multiple bracket sets
- Upgrades renew yearly after the first year
- The pricing page does not say which plans include HDR Merge

Price: $129.00 one-time, Desktop Only (checked 2026-10-12)

## Considered, not ranked

## Best for each need

- **One browser app for merging, windows, perspective and skies**: The widest list of listing fixes on this page, priced per photo.
- **Dropping a whole shoot of brackets and singles at once**: It sorts and merges up to 9 brackets per image and accepts singles alongside.
- **A consistent finish on a set you have already merged**: It finishes the property as one set with balanced exposure and coherent color, and you keep the final review.
- **Lots of add-ons such as twilight, staging and lawns**: Its tool list covers those extras, paid per downloaded photo.
- **Shoot booking, editing and client delivery together**: It is a full real estate media platform, not just an editor.
- **Full manual control in a catalog you already pay for**: HDR Photo Merge plus every adjustment, all by hand.
- **Buying a desktop merger once**: $99 one-time with real estate interior presets.

## What to check before you choose

- **Know which step is eating your time**: Merging, masking windows, fixing verticals and matching color across rooms are different jobs. A merger saves the first, a browser editor may save several, and a finishing service saves the last pass. Time one recent property and see where the hours went before you buy anything.
- **Match the product to how you shoot**: If you shoot five to nine brackets per view, you need something that merges. If you shoot single frames or already merge in Lightroom, a merger adds nothing, and the value is in the finish. NovaHDR starts from the image you export, so it belongs only in the second group.
- **Look at the whole set, not one hero shot**: Vendor samples show their best kitchen. A listing is twenty to fifty frames, and buyers scroll through all of them. Ask for or run a full property and check whether the rooms share white balance, brightness and contrast, or whether each looks edited on its own.
- **Read the price model, not just the price**: Per photo, per downloaded photo, per listing, per property and one-time licenses all add up differently. A 40-photo property at a per-photo rate costs forty times that rate; a per-property price covers the set up to its photo limit. Monthly plans matter only if your volume is steady.
- **Check what happens when an edit misses**: Some products list human revisions, some list prompt-based re-edits, and some say nothing. Know the answer before the first rushed listing, and keep your own source files either way.
- **Keep the final look natural**: Listing photos that look heavily processed can mislead buyers and embarrass agents. Whatever you choose, keep the final review yourself and favor a restrained finish over a dramatic one.

## Questions about real estate photo editing software

### What is the best real estate photo editing software?

For most real estate photographers it is Imagen for Real Estate, because one browser app covers merging, window pulls, perspective and skies at a per-photo price. Autoenhance.ai is the stronger pick for mixed uploads of brackets and singles. NovaHDR fits photographers who already merge or shoot single frames and want the whole property finished consistently.

### Do I install anything to use NovaHDR?

No. NovaHDR is a web app. You sign up with Google or email, name the property, upload up to 50 photos and send it for editing. Nothing is installed, and it does not replace your capture, merge or publishing software.

### Which real estate photo editors merge brackets?

On this list, Imagen for Real Estate, Autoenhance.ai, Lightroom Classic, Photomatix Pro and Luminar Neo all describe bracket merging on their own pages. NovaHDR does not merge brackets; merge first and send the exported images.

### What is the cheapest option for one property?

It depends on how many photos the property has. Per-photo tools charge for every frame, while NovaHDR charges per property: $29 one-time for one property, covering up to 50 photos. Photomatix Pro is $99 once if you prefer to do the work yourself.

### Do I still need Lightroom if I use an online editor?

Often yes. Many photographers keep Lightroom Classic for culling, merging and export, and use an online editor or service for the part that takes longest. NovaHDR is designed to sit after your merge or export step, not to replace it.

### Which tools accept RAW files?

Imagen for Real Estate, Autoenhance.ai (except compressed RAW), Fotello, Lightroom Classic, Photomatix Pro and Luminar Neo list RAW support. NovaHDR accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP only.

### How were these products ranked?

On fit for property sets, the inputs each one takes, consistency across rooms, the work left for you, and the price model, using each vendor's own public pages checked in October 2026. NovaHDR wrote the ranking, and the method section explains where that bias could show.

### How often is this page updated?

Prices and features were checked on October 12, 2026, with Imagen's from an archived page dated August 26, 2026. The next check is due by November 12, 2026, and prices are corrected when they change.

## Final ranking

1. Imagen for Real Estate: Best all-in-one browser editor
2. Autoenhance.ai: Best for mixed uploads of brackets and singles
3. NovaHDR: Best for finishing a set that is already merged
4. AutoHDR: Best for high monthly volume with add-on tools
5. Fotello: Best when you want booking, editing and delivery in one platform
6. Adobe Lightroom Classic: Best if you already pay for Adobe
7. Photomatix Pro: Best desktop merge you buy once
8. Luminar Neo: Best one-time desktop editor with HDR Merge
