About NovaHDR

  • What is NovaHDR?NovaHDR is property photo editing for real estate photographers: send a property's photos, get back a finished set with balanced exposure and consistent color.
  • Who is NovaHDR for?NovaHDR is for real estate photographers who want the last exposure and color pass on a property shoot finished, without making every correction themselves.
  • What does NovaHDR change in my photos?NovaHDR changes exposure and color: it balances the light in each photo and brings color into line from room to room, so the property reads as one set.
  • Does NovaHDR offer virtual staging? No. NovaHDR edits exposure and color in property photos. It is not virtual staging or room redesign, and it does not add furniture, rooms or other objects.
  • Will my photos still look natural after editing?Yes, that is the aim: bright enough to understand the space and restrained enough to keep its character, without the overcooked look of heavy HDR.
  • Does NovaHDR edit each photo separately or as a set?As a set. NovaHDR finishes the property as a whole, so a warm kitchen and a cool bedroom stop looking like two shoots and color holds from room to room.
  • Is it ethical to edit real estate photos?Yes, when the edit changes how a property is seen, not what it is: balancing exposure and color is presentation; adding features or hiding defects is not.
  • Should I outsource real estate photo editing?Outsource it when the last exposure and color pass keeps you from the next shoot, and keep it in house when you enjoy that work or want control of every frame.

Pricing and credits

  • How much does NovaHDR cost? One Property is a one-time purchase for a single property of up to 50 photos, and Solo, Pro and Studio are monthly plans whose property credits roll over.
  • Can I use NovaHDR without a subscription?Yes. One Property is a one-time purchase for a single property of up to 50 photos, so you can edit one shoot without a monthly plan. It never expires.
  • What is a property credit?A property credit pays for one property of up to 50 photos. One Property buys one; monthly plans add credits every paid month. Sending a property uses one.
  • Do unused NovaHDR credits roll over?Yes. Unused monthly property credits roll over, up to a cap that depends on your plan, and purchased One Property credits never expire.
  • Which NovaHDR plan should I choose?Choose by how many properties you shoot each month: One Property for an occasional shoot, then Solo with 5 credits a month, Pro with 15 or Studio with 40.
  • How do I cancel a NovaHDR subscription?Contact support@novahdr.com for cancellation assistance. Cancellation stops future renewals, and the billing period you already paid for still applies.
  • Do One Property credits expire? No. Purchased One Property credits never expire, so you can buy one now and use it on a later shoot. Subscription credits are used before purchased ones.
