FUJIFILM CAMERAS
Fujifilm real estate photography with X series bodies and wide XF lenses
Fujifilm X bodies such as the X-T5 show up on listing shoots mostly in the hands of photographers who already love the system's dials and colors and want to use it for real estate work too. Most X bodies are APS-C with a 1.5x crop, so an XF 8 to 16mm or 10 to 24mm lens does the job a 12 to 24mm or 16 to 35mm does on full frame. The catch for listings is color: Film Simulations like Velvia or Classic Chrome are lovely for personal work but push rooms away from how they look, and Auto white balance still shifts from frame to frame. NovaHDR finishes the JPEGs you export from your Fujifilm workflow as one property, with balanced exposure and consistent color.
NovaHDR has no Film Simulation or Fujifilm profile: RAF files stay in your editor, and the exported JPEG, PNG or WebP is finished.
One property covers up to 50 photos.

Blend RAF brackets on your side
Blend AE BKT sequences in Lightroom, Capture One or your HDR software, or choose one frame, and export a single JPEG per view. RAF files and bracket sets are not accepted.
- 02
Upload the property
Name the listing in NovaHDR and upload up to 50 exported views, the exterior with the rooms.

Send and review
Choose One Property or a plan credit and send. You get the finished set 24 to 72 hours after you send the property, and it waits for your review before delivery.
How Fujifilm shooters set up for listings
Fujifilm's controls are distinctive. These are common choices when the same camera does real estate work.
Choose Provia or a neutral simulation
Provia, Fujifilm's standard simulation, keeps the preview and in-camera JPEGs close to neutral. Save Velvia and Classic Chrome for personal work.
Leave DR settings at DR100 when bracketing
DR200 and DR400 change in-camera tone and raise the minimum ISO; when you bracket and blend, DR100 keeps things predictable.
Set AE BKT in the drive settings
Pick the frame count and step for AE bracketing, and use the self-timer so the first frame is sharp.
Pick the XF wide zoom that fits
The XF 8 to 16mm f/2.8 is very wide and heavy; the XF 10 to 24mm f/4 is lighter, stabilized and covers most rooms.
Check your raw editor's X-Trans handling
Some editors render fine X-Trans detail differently; many owners use Capture One or Lightroom's Enhance options for cleaner foliage and textures.
Fix white balance per house
Choose a Kelvin value or preset so rooms start matched.
What to know about Fujifilm files for listing work
APS-C with a 1.5x crop
Most X bodies crop by 1.5x, so 8 to 10mm lenses are needed for wide rooms.
X-Trans sensors
Most X bodies use X-Trans color filters, which some raw editors handle differently from standard sensors.
Film Simulations shape JPEGs
Simulations change color and contrast in camera; they do not change raw files but affect previews.
RAF raw files
Fujifilm raw files are RAF and stay in your own editing workflow.
Finished as one property
NovaHDR finishes all exported rooms together, with balanced exposure and consistent color, and a natural look.
One image per view
Send merged or single frames; NovaHDR does not merge brackets.

What does finishing Fujifilm real estate photos mean?
Finishing Fujifilm real estate photos is the exposure and color pass across the whole property, done on the images you export after blending or choosing frames. Your Film Simulation and lens choices stay yours; NovaHDR brings the rooms into one natural, consistent set for your review.
It is not a Film Simulation, RAF conversion or bracket blending.
Fujifilm real estate photography questions
What is the best Fujifilm lens for real estate photography?
The XF 10 to 24mm f/4 for most homes, or the XF 8 to 16mm f/2.8 for very tight rooms and more width.
Which Film Simulation should I use for listings?
Provia or another neutral simulation. Strong looks like Velvia or Classic Chrome make rooms look unlike the real home.
Is a Fujifilm camera good for real estate photography?
Yes. X bodies like the X-T5 do well with a wide XF lens and a tripod. Full frame helps most in very dark homes.
Can I upload Fujifilm RAF files?
No. RAF files stay in Lightroom, Capture One or Fujifilm's own software; upload the JPEG, PNG or WebP you export from there.
Will NovaHDR keep my Fujifilm colors?
Finishing balances exposure and color toward a natural look across the set; a strong simulation baked into some photos and not others makes that harder, so keep one neutral look.
What does a Fujifilm listing cost to finish?
A Fujifilm-shot property of up to 50 photos is $29 one-time for one property, or one plan credit.
