NovaHDR vs Imagen for Real Estate: one consistent set or a browser toolbox

Imagen for Real Estate is a browser-based editor that merges exposures and offers window pulls, perspective correction, sky replacement and an assistant for staging, object removal and twilight, priced per photo. NovaHDR finishes a property photo set with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, in a natural look, and you keep the final review. Choose Imagen when you want many editing tools and teams with a shared look. Choose NovaHDR when you want the set finished as a whole and nothing added to the property.

How NovaHDR and Imagen differ

Tools in the box

Imagen lists HDR Merge, Window Pull, Perspective Correction, Sky Replacement, Color Enhancement and Crop, plus an assistant for virtual staging, object removal and twilight. NovaHDR does not offer those tools. It balances exposure and color and leaves the property as it is.

RAW and HEIC uploads

Imagen accepts JPEG, RAW, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF and DNG files. NovaHDR accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP, so RAW files are exported first.

Per photo or per property

Imagen prices pay as you go per photo; its early bird price was $0.22 a photo, 30% off, and the regular price was not shown. NovaHDR prices a property of up to 50 photos at $29 one-time for one property.

Revisions and review

Imagen sends a flagged photo to "human review" and includes three human revisions per listing. NovaHDR keeps the final review with you before the set goes to your client.

Consistency as the deliverable

Imagen talks about "consistent, listing-ready quality across every photographer on your team". NovaHDR finishes each property as a set, so the rooms read as one property rather than separate edits.

About each option

NovaHDR

NovaHDR is property photo editing for real estate photographers. You name the property, upload up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, choose One Property or a plan, and send the property for editing. The finished set comes back in 24 to 72 hours with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, a natural look rather than a redesigned room, and you keep the final review before it goes to your client. RAW, TIFF and bracket sets are not accepted: merge and export brackets first.

Imagen

Imagen for Real Estate is a browser-based editor from Imagen. It merges exposures and offers window pulls, perspective correction, sky replacement and an assistant for staging, object removal and twilight. It takes JPEG, RAW, HEIC, AVIF and DNG files, returns final JPEGs, and includes three human revisions per listing. New accounts get 250 free photo edits.
