NovaHDR vs AutoHDR: a consistent property set or per-photo editing with add-ons

AutoHDR is a web-based editor for real estate photos, priced per downloaded photo, with add-on tools such as sky replacement, virtual staging, virtual twilight and prompt-based re-edits. NovaHDR does one job: it finishes a property photo set with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, and you keep the final review before the set goes to your client. Choose AutoHDR when you want a large toolbox, integrations with Spiro or Aryeo and a free tier. Choose NovaHDR when you want a natural, consistent set for a flat price per property.

How NovaHDR and AutoHDR differ

A toolbox or a single finishing pass

AutoHDR lists sky replacement, grass greening, removals, virtual staging, virtual twilight and blur among its tools. NovaHDR does not offer any of these. It edits exposure and color only and keeps the property as it was photographed.

Paying per photo or per property

AutoHDR says "Only Pay for What You Download"; its Standard plan is $265 a month for 500 photos ($0.53 a photo) as of October 2026, and unused credits roll over. NovaHDR charges by property: $29 one-time for one property, covering up to 50 photos, or $79 a month on Solo for 5 properties.

Workflow integrations

AutoHDR lists integrations with Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Aryeo and Dropbox, and imports from Dropbox and Google Drive. NovaHDR is a web app where you name the property, upload the photos and send it for editing.

A known delivery window

AutoHDR does not state a turnaround on its homepage or pricing page. NovaHDR states one: the finished set arrives 24 to 72 hours after you send the property, and nothing is submitted until you send it.

What you send

AutoHDR's pages do not say whether it takes brackets, single exposures or RAW files. NovaHDR is explicit: up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos per property, with brackets merged and exported first.

About each option

NovaHDR

NovaHDR is property photo editing for real estate photographers. You name the property, upload up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, choose One Property or a plan, and send the property for editing. The finished set comes back in 24 to 72 hours with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, a natural look rather than a redesigned room, and you keep the final review before it goes to your client. RAW, TIFF and bracket sets are not accepted: merge and export brackets first.

AutoHDR

AutoHDR describes itself as "AI Real Estate Photo Editing" in an online editor. You upload by drag and drop or from Dropbox or Google Drive, and pay for the photos you download: a free plan covers 10 photos a month and Standard is $265 a month for 500. It adds tools such as sky replacement, virtual staging and virtual twilight, and connects to Spiro, Aryeo and other platforms.

Which one fits your work

Choose NovaHDR when

  3. Run the same photos through AutoHDR's free plan.
  4. Compare how each set holds color from room to room.
  5. Keep the workflow that leaves you less to fix before delivery.
