Real estate photo editing prices: per photo, per hour or per property

Real estate photo editing is priced in three common ways: per photo, often with extra charges per task; per hour, when you hire a freelancer; and per property, where one price covers the whole set. NovaHDR uses the last. One Property is a one-time purchase covering up to 50 photos with no expiry, and monthly plans give you property credits that roll over up to a cap. The useful comparison is the cost of finishing a whole listing, not the headline price of one image.

Price the property, not the photo.

What real estate photo editing prices usually cover

A real estate photo editing price is what a photographer pays an outside service, tool or person to finish listing photos. The number on its own says little until you know the unit (photo, hour or property), the scope (correction only, or alterations such as staging), and the volume a plan assumes. Two quotes can look far apart and land close together once you price the same listing at the same scope.

These are editing prices for photographers, not the price an agent pays for a photo shoot. For the time side of the cost, see real estate photo editing turnaround.

Every plan covers up to 50 photos per property, and one property uses one credit. Subscription credits are used before purchased credits, and purchased credits never expire. Prices are in USD.

Where per photo prices hide the real total

Per photo menus look small because they price one image and one task. A real listing has thirty or forty images, and the ones that need the most work, such as a kitchen with bright windows or a living room under mixed bulbs, often need more than one task. Add them up for a whole property and the total is rarely the number you saw first.

Hourly freelancers are harder still to budget, because the hours depend on the property and the person. A plain condo might be quick; a large home with every light on and every blind open will not be. You also carry the time spent briefing and checking.

Per property pricing turns that into one line on the quote you give your agent. The scope is fixed, the photo limit is known in advance and the delivery window is the same for every listing, which is exactly what you need to price your own shoots with confidence.

One Property or a monthly plan

If you shoot a listing now and then, One Property keeps it simple: pay for the property you are sending, and an unused purchase never expires.

If you shoot every week, a plan gives you a monthly allowance of property credits: 5 on Solo, 15 on Pro and 40 on Studio. Quiet months are not wasted, because unused credits roll over up to the plan's cap, and busy months can draw on what you saved.

Turning a plan into a price per listing

To find what a listing costs you on a monthly plan, divide the plan price by the properties it includes. Because every property covers up to 50 photos, the result is your editing cost per listing whether the house has twenty photos or forty five.

Compare that per listing figure with what you charge the agent for the shoot. Editing that is a predictable slice of every invoice is easier to price into your packages than a per photo bill that changes with every house.

How to price one listing fairly across vendors

  1. 01

Count the photos you actually deliver

Use a real recent listing, interiors and exteriors included.

  2. 02

    Write down the scope

If you only need exposure and color finishing, price only that. Add alterations separately and only where a listing needs them.

  3. 03

Price the whole set with each model

Multiply per photo rates out, estimate freelancer hours honestly, and compare with a single per property price.

  4. 04

    Add your own time

Count the minutes you still spend preparing, instructing and checking. A cheaper rate that needs more of your time is not cheaper.

Questions about real estate photo editing prices

What is the cheapest way to try NovaHDR?

Buy a single property: $29 one-time for one property, up to 50 photos, no expiry, no subscription.

Is NovaHDR priced per photo?

No. Pricing is per property. A property covers up to 50 photos, so a 25 photo listing and a 45 photo listing use the same single credit.

What happens to unused monthly credits?

They roll over up to your plan's cap: 15 on Solo, 45 on Pro and 120 on Studio.

Which credits are used first?

Subscription credits are used before purchased credits. Purchased credits never expire.

How do monthly plans bill?

Monthly, renewing until canceled. Canceling stops future renewals; contact support@novahdr.com for help.

Are prices in US dollars?

Yes, all prices are in USD.

Does a higher price buy a faster delivery?

No. Every plan delivers finished photos 24 to 72 hours after you send the property.

How do I compare a per photo quote with NovaHDR?

Multiply the per photo rate by the number of photos in a typical listing, add any per task extras that listing would need, and compare the total with one property credit, which covers up to 50 photos.

Do I pay again if I retry a property?

Retrying the same activated property uses no additional credit.
