Batch photo editing for real estate: the best options, ranked
By NovaHDR, Publisher · Facts checked 2026-10-12
For editing a whole real estate shoot at once, Autoenhance.ai is the strongest batch option: you drag in the full shoot, it detects brackets, interiors and exteriors itself, and it charges only for the images you download. Imagen for Real Estate is close behind with batch AI editing in the browser and human revisions per listing. NovaHDR ranks third for photographers who already merge: it finishes up to 50 photos per property as one consistent set. Photomatix Pro is the desktop pick for batch bracket merging, followed by AutoHDR, Affinity and easyHDR.
NovaHDR wrote this ranking and is one of the seven products ranked on it, in third place.

What batch editing means for a property shoot
A property shoot is thirty or forty views of one home, often three to nine brackets each. Batch editing means not touching each of those views by hand: merging every bracket set in one run, applying a starting edit to every frame, and exporting the lot.
The catch is that a property is not a batch of unrelated images. A batch that treats every room on its own can leave the kitchen cool and the hallway warm. The tools below differ in what they batch: some batch the merge, some batch the editing, and some finish the whole property as a set so the rooms agree.
How we compared
NovaHDR wrote this page and NovaHDR is ranked on it. To limit that bias, every statement about another product comes from its vendor's own pages, read on October 12, 2026, and NovaHDR ranks below two products that also batch the bracket merge, which NovaHDR does not do.
We ranked for a real estate photographer who wants a shoot off the desk with as few per-image steps as possible. A product ranks higher when it takes the shoot as it comes off the card, keeps the rooms consistent with each other, and has a clear cost per property.

The ranking
Autoenhance.ai
Autoenhance.ai is built around the batch: you drag and drop the full property shoot and it detects brackets, interiors and exteriors itself, grouping and merging up to 9 brackets per image, with single images mixed into the same upload. It lists HDR merging, window pulls, sky replacement, color correction and perspective correction, accepts JPEG, TIFF, HEIC and most camera RAW, and charges one credit per final image you download, however many brackets went into it. It ranks first because it asks the least of you before the batch starts. Its prices did not render on the check date and it states no revision policy.
- Upload a whole shoot; brackets, interiors and exteriors are detected
- Up to 9 brackets merged per image
- 1 credit per downloaded image
- Web app and API
- Prices did not render on the check date
- No revision policy on the pages read
Price: 1 credit per downloaded image; price values not rendered (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Imagen for Real Estate
Imagen for Real Estate edits a listing's photos in the browser, with HDR Merge, Window Pull, Perspective Correction, Sky Replacement and Color Enhancement, and says its goal is consistent, listing-ready quality across every photographer on a team. Imagen says the first batch is processed in under 10 minutes. It ranks second because it pairs batch editing with a stated fix for the frames that come back wrong: three human revisions per listing. A Teams plan covers studios processing 25,000 or more photos a year.
- Batch AI editing in the browser
- HDR merge, window pull, perspective and sky tools
- Three human revisions per listing
- Teams plan for high volume
- Per-photo pricing; the full price was not readable in the capture
- Speed is Imagen's claim
Price: Pay as you go per photo; early bird $0.22/photo (archived Aug 26, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)

NovaHDR
NovaHDR treats the property, not the image, as the unit. You name the property, upload up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, up to 50 MiB each and 2 GiB in total, and send it; the set comes back with balanced exposure and coherent color from room to room, 24 to 72 hours after you send the property, for your final review. Saved uploads wait if you need to come back before sending. It ranks third because it starts from finished frames: it does not merge brackets or accept RAW or TIFF, so photographers who bracket merge first, then hand off the set.
- The whole property finished as one set
- Up to 50 photos per property; one property uses one credit
- Saved uploads you can return to before sending
- Delivered 24 to 72 hours after you send the property
- No bracket merging; no RAW or TIFF
- One property at a time, not an open-ended batch of unrelated images
Price: $29 one-time for one property; Solo $79 per month, 5 property credits (checked 2026-10-12)
Photomatix Pro
Photomatix Pro merges bracketed photos into HDR images on Windows, Mac or Linux, and HDRsoft markets batch HDR merge as a way to save time. A separate HDR Batch Plugin runs the merge from inside Lightroom. It ranks fourth because it batches the merge only: color across rooms is still your job afterwards. A testimonial on HDRsoft's site speaks of processing 100 photos in under an hour, which is that customer's claim.
- Batch HDR merge on the desktop
- HDR Batch Plugin for Lightroom
- One-time license
- Batches the merge, not the finishing
- You run it on your own computer
Price: Photomatix Pro 7 $99 one-time; HDR Batch Plugin for Lightroom $69 (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
AutoHDR
AutoHDR lists bulk editing of multiple images at once among tools such as sky replacement, grass greening, removals and virtual staging, and connects to Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Aryeo and Dropbox. It ranks fifth because it does not state whether it accepts brackets or which file types it takes, which is the first question for a batch.
- Bulk edit multiple images at once
- Integrations with delivery platforms
- Pay only for downloaded photos
- Bracket handling and file types not stated
Price: Standard: $265.00/month for 500 photos ($0.53/photo) (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Affinity
Affinity, now free from Canva, lists batch processing with recordable macros alongside HDR merge. For a photographer willing to build a macro once, that automates a repeatable starting edit across a shoot for nothing. It ranks sixth because the batch is only as smart as the macro you record, and it needs a Canva account.
- Free
- Batch processing with recordable macros
- HDR merge
- You build and maintain the macro
- Requires a Canva account
Price: $0, free (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
easyHDR 3
easyHDR 3 merges brackets or enhances single photos and lists batch processing and a Lightroom plug-in. It ranks last because its price did not show on the purchase page and its real estate use rests on a single testimonial.
- Batch processing
- Merge or single photo enhancement
- Lightroom plug-in
- Price not shown on the purchase page
Price: Lifetime license; price not shown (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Considered, not ranked
- Luminar Neo: Skylum says HDR Merge does not support batch merging of multiple sets of photos; edits can be synced and batch exported afterwards.
- Adobe Lightroom Classic: Photo Merge creates an HDR DNG from a selection of brackets; batch merge behavior is not described on the help page we read.

What to check before you batch a shoot
Know what is being batched
A batch merge, a batch edit and a finished set are three different results. Write down which one you need back before you compare prices.
Look at the set, not the samples
Vendors show their best single images. Run one full property and lay the results out in listing order. Any room that does not match the rest is still yours to fix.
Count the per-image steps left
Sorting brackets, flagging failures, re-exporting: every step you still do per image eats into the time a batch was supposed to save.
Price by property
Per-photo, per-credit and per-property prices only compare once you multiply them by a real shoot. Use the number of views you actually deliver.
Questions about batch editing real estate photos
What is the best software for batch editing real estate photos?
Autoenhance.ai, if you want to hand over a full bracketed shoot as it comes off the card, since it detects and merges brackets itself. Imagen for Real Estate is the alternative with human revisions per listing.
Can I batch merge HDR brackets?
Yes. Autoenhance.ai merges up to 9 brackets per image from a whole-shoot upload, and Photomatix Pro offers batch HDR merge on the desktop and through its Lightroom plug-in. Luminar Neo says its HDR Merge does not batch-merge multiple sets.
How do I keep batch-edited rooms consistent?
Edit the property as a set rather than image by image, then check it in listing order. NovaHDR does this as a service: up to 50 photos per property come back with coherent color from room to room.
How many photos can NovaHDR take at once?
Up to 50 photos per property, up to 50 MiB each and 2 GiB in total, in JPEG, PNG or WebP. Pricing starts at $29 one-time for one property.
Is there free batch editing software for real estate?
Affinity is free and lists batch processing with recordable macros and HDR merge. You build the macro yourself.
Does batch editing replace my final check?
No. Whatever does the batch, look through the finished set before it goes to the agent; with NovaHDR that final review is yours by design.
