Ranking, checked October 2026
The best AI real estate photo editors, ranked from vendor pages
By NovaHDR, Publisher · Facts checked 2026-10-12
For a real estate photographer who edits their own shoots, Imagen for Real Estate is the strongest AI editor on paper: it merges brackets in the browser, offers window pull, perspective and sky tools, accepts RAW, and is the only one here that names a human revision allowance per listing. Autoenhance.ai is the pick when you upload full bracketed shoots or need an API, AutoHDR when you want add-on tools and booking-platform integrations, Fotello when you want editing inside a booking and delivery platform, and Luminar Neo when you would rather own desktop software than pay per photo.
NovaHDR wrote this ranking. NovaHDR sells property photo editing and is listed under considered, not ranked, because it does not market its editing as an AI tool.

What an AI real estate photo editor is
An AI real estate photo editor is software that takes the photographs from a property shoot and returns edited images with corrected exposure and color, usually with optional tools for skies, windows, staging or twilight. The photographer still shoots and still decides what goes to the agent; the editor replaces some or all of the time spent at the desk.
The products in this category differ more than their headlines suggest. Some merge brackets and some expect a finished frame. Some charge per photo you download, some per listing, and one sells a desktop license. Some offer human revisions and some offer a prompt. The ranking below sorts those differences into a decision.
How we compared
NovaHDR wrote this page and sells property photo editing, which is a bias. NovaHDR is not ranked here because its public pages describe the finished set, not an AI tool, so it would not be a fair entry on an AI list. Every statement about another product comes from that vendor's own pages, read on October 12, 2026, or from an archived capture where the live page did not load; each entry links its sources.
We ranked for a working real estate photographer who edits their own shoots. A product scores higher when it handles brackets and RAW files, covers the corrections real estate work needs, states how a bad result gets fixed, and publishes a price you can plan around. Speed claims are quoted as the vendor's words and do not affect the ranking, because none of them is independently measured.
Input handling
Can I upload my brackets or RAW files as they come off the camera?
Real estate corrections
Does it cover window pulls, verticals and color, or only general enhancement?
Fixing a bad result
If an image comes back wrong, who fixes it and how?
Price you can plan around
Can I see what a 30 photo listing will cost before I upload?
Fit with my workflow
Does it connect to how I deliver, or is it one more place to manage?
The ranking
Imagen for Real Estate
Imagen describes its real estate product as proprietary AI real estate photo editing for consistent, listing-ready quality across every photographer on a team. It runs entirely in the browser, with no desktop app or plug-ins, and lists HDR Merge, Window Pull, Perspective Correction, Sky Replacement, Color Enhancement and Crop, plus an assistant for staging, object removal and twilight. It ranks first because it is the only product here that pairs a full set of real estate corrections with a stated human fallback: flag a photo and it goes to a photo expert on Imagen's team, with three human revisions per listing included. Pricing is per photo, billed monthly for the photos edited.
- HDR merge, window pull, perspective correction and sky replacement in one browser app
- Accepts JPEG, RAW, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF and DNG; delivers final JPEGs at up to 6K
- Three human revisions per listing
- 250 free photo edits for new accounts, no credit card
- The real estate web app is priced separately from Imagen's desktop plans, which can confuse existing users
- The full per-photo price was filled in by script and was not readable in the capture; only an early bird figure was
Price: Pay as you go per photo; early bird banner $0.22/photo, limited time (archived Aug 26, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)

Autoenhance.ai
Autoenhance.ai calls itself automated real estate photo editing: HDR merging, window pulls, sky replacement, color correction, perspective correction and camera removal. You drag in the full property shoot and it detects brackets, interiors and exteriors on its own, grouping and merging up to 9 brackets per image, and it accepts more formats than anyone else here, including TIFF and most camera RAW. You spend a credit only on the final images you download, regardless of how many brackets fed each one. It ranks second because its pricing did not render on the check date and it states no revision policy, so the cost and the fix for a bad image are harder to plan than with Imagen.
- Upload a full shoot; brackets, interiors and exteriors are detected for you
- Merges up to 9 brackets per image; JPEG and RAW both supported
- 1 credit per downloaded image, regardless of bracket count
- Web app plus an API; watermarked free trial with no card
- Price values showed as loading on the check date, so no per-image price is recorded
- No revision or reprocessing policy on the pages read; credits expire two months after issue
Price: 1 credit per downloaded image; pay per image and Enterprise tabs, values not rendered (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
AutoHDR
AutoHDR describes itself as AI real estate photo editing in a web-based editor, and its tool list is the longest here: sky replacement, grass greening, removals, virtual staging, virtual twilight, blurring of sensitive details, fire in the fireplace, TV screens and bulk editing. It lists integrations with Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Aryeo and Dropbox, and you pay only for the photos you download. It ranks third because the vendor does not say which files it accepts or whether it takes brackets, states no turnaround, and offers a prompt-based AI re-edit rather than a human revision.
- Long list of add-on tools, from sky and grass to staging and twilight
- Integrations with Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo, Aryeo and Dropbox
- Pay only for downloaded photos; unused credits roll over
- A free plan of 10 photos per month
- Accepted file types and bracket handling are not stated on the homepage or pricing page
- Fixes come through an AI re-edit prompt; no human revision policy is stated
- The homepage notes that the current interface will sunset soon
Price: Free: 10 photos/month; Standard: $265.00/month for 500 photos ($0.53/photo) (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Fotello
Fotello positions itself as an AI real estate media platform that covers booking, editing, delivery and payment, so the editing is one part of a larger system. It accepts all RAW formats and JPEGs, offers web and print output sizes, and its paid plans include unlimited human revisions from its in-house team. It ranks fourth for a photographer who only needs editing, because its plans are priced per listing and billed on a 75 listing monthly basis, which suits a busy operation more than an occasional shoot; pay as you go per-photo rates are also listed.
- Editing inside booking, delivery and payments
- All RAW formats and JPEGs accepted
- Unlimited human revisions on the Essential plan
- Web and mobile apps, with API access on every plan
- Plans are billed monthly based on 75 listings, a large commitment for a small operation
- The free plan adds Fotello branding, keeps AI-edited photos view-only on download and stores them for 60 days
Price: Pay as you go: photo editing $0.50 per photo; Essential: $16 per listing, billed on 75 listings ($1,200/month) (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Luminar Neo
Luminar Neo is Skylum's desktop editor for Mac and Windows, sold with a one-time payment rather than per photo. Skylum calls HDR Merge a one-stop HDR merger for nature and architecture photography: choose up to 10 bracketed RAW or JPEG images, and it also uses AI to expand dynamic range from a single photo. It ranks last here because it is a tool you operate yourself rather than an editing service, and because HDR Merge does not batch-merge multiple sets, which matters on a 30 view shoot.
- HDR Merge for up to 10 brackets, RAW or JPEG
- Single photo dynamic range expansion
- Runs as an app and as a Lightroom Classic and Photoshop plug-in
- 30 days money back, per Skylum's pricing page
- No batch merging of multiple bracket sets
- You do the editing; nothing is returned to you finished
- The pricing page does not say which plans include HDR Merge
Price: Desktop Only $129.00 one-time; upgrades free for 1 year (Oct 12, 2026) (checked 2026-10-12)
Considered, not ranked
- NovaHDR: NovaHDR finishes a property photo set with balanced exposure and consistent color from room to room, delivered 24 to 72 hours after you send the property. Its public pages describe that outcome and do not present it as an AI editor, so it is not ranked on this list. It also starts from finished images: it does not merge brackets or accept RAW files.
- Virtuance: A booked photography service whose own photographers shoot the property and whose in-house editors process the images; it does not edit photos shot by someone else.
- Aftershoot: AI post-processing for photographers, but its pages read do not mention real estate, interiors or bracket merging.
- Evoto: An AI photo editor focused on weddings, headshots and portraits; its homepage does not mention real estate.

What to check before you choose
Match the input to how you shoot
If you shoot brackets, pick an editor that says it merges them and says how many. If you merge in Lightroom or Photomatix first, you need a tool that starts from a finished frame, and bracket merging stops being a reason to pay more.
Find the fix for a bad image before you need it
Every AI editor returns some frames you will not deliver. Read how each vendor handles that: human revisions, a prompt-based re-edit, or nothing stated. On a listing with a deadline, that answer matters more than the headline speed.
Price a real listing, not a single photo
Multiply the per-photo price by the frames you actually deliver, then add the add-ons you would use. Per-listing plans can be cheaper for large shoots and expensive for small ones, and monthly minimums change the math for a slow month.
Treat speed claims as claims
Minutes-long turnarounds are vendor statements, not measurements. Test with one of your own difficult interiors, the room with the bright window and the warm lamp, before you move a whole month of work.
Decide what stays in your hands
An AI editor still leaves you checking every frame before it goes to the agent. If the bottleneck is that final pass across the whole set, compare editors with services that finish the set and send it back for your review.
Questions about AI real estate photo editors
What is the best AI real estate photo editor?
On what the vendors publish, Imagen for Real Estate, because it combines HDR merge, window pull, perspective and sky tools with RAW support and three human revisions per listing. Autoenhance.ai is the stronger choice for uploading full bracketed shoots or using an API.
Which AI editors merge brackets?
Imagen lists HDR Merge, Autoenhance.ai merges up to 9 brackets per image, and Luminar Neo merges up to 10 on the desktop. AutoHDR does not say on its homepage or pricing page whether it takes brackets, and Fotello states no bracket requirement.
Which AI real estate editor offers human revisions?
Imagen includes three human revisions per listing, and Fotello's paid plans include unlimited human revisions from its in-house team. AutoHDR offers an AI re-edit by text prompt, and Autoenhance.ai states no revision policy on the pages we read.
How much does AI real estate photo editing cost?
As listed in October 2026: AutoHDR Standard is $265.00 a month for 500 photos, Fotello is $0.50 a photo pay as you go, Imagen showed an early bird $0.22 a photo, and Luminar Neo Desktop Only is $129.00 once. Autoenhance.ai's prices did not render on the check date.
Can I try an AI real estate photo editor for free?
Imagen gives new accounts 250 free photo edits, AutoHDR has a free plan of 10 photos a month, Fotello has a free plan with its branding, and Autoenhance.ai offers a watermarked trial. Each comes with its own limits, listed in the ranking.
Do AI editors replace a real estate photographer?
No. Every product here starts from photographs someone has taken, and the photographer still checks the results before the agent sees them. Virtuance is the exception that books its own photographers, which is why it is not ranked as an editor.
Why is NovaHDR not in this ranking?
NovaHDR finishes a property photo set with balanced exposure and consistent color and returns it 24 to 72 hours after you send the property, but its public pages do not present it as an AI editor. Ranking it here would compare it on terms it does not use. It appears on the real estate photo editing services ranking instead.
Is AI editing accurate enough for MLS listings?
That depends on the edit and your review, not on the label. Sky replacement, removals and staging change what a buyer sees, so check each frame and follow your listing rules about disclosure before you publish.
